Alexis Pangborn
Development Writer & Consultant
Alexis Pangborn is a development writer with more than seven years of experience working with nonprofit communities in New York and Texas. In her role as a grant writer, she has helped raise more than $4.7 million in grant awards to support mission-driven programs in education, human services and the arts. Prior to launching her freelance career, Ms. Pangborn was the Assistant Director of Foundation Relations for St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas. She also served on the Board of Directors for the Association of Fundraising Professionals Greater Austin Chapter and co-chaired a National Philanthropy Day committee. A San Antonio native, Ms. Pangborn is a former company member of Ballet San Antonio and holds a Master of Arts in English from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She lives in Sioux City, Iowa, with her husband Matthew and son Aubrey.
