Ballet San Antonio has been reaching approximately 30,000 members of our community every year – not just through our regular performances but through a variety of community outreach initiatives.
Our longstanding educational program, Learning That Moves You, brings ballet to thousands of children throughout the community. We collaborate with other area arts and community organizations to promote the performing and visual arts at both public and private events. We nurture local talent by inviting young dancers to audition for and perform in our productions. During the 2012/2013 season, Ballet San Antonio will expand Learning That Moves You through a collaboration with the Boys and Girls Clubs of San Antonio. Ballet classes will be offered twice a week, taught by a professional dancer totally free of charge, to children from all area Clubs.
