Mayim Stiller was born in Seattle, Washington and began his formal training at Oregon Ballet Academy under the direction of John Grensback. He continued his training for one year at the Pacific Northwest Ballet and one year at the School of American Ballet, performing the lead role in Faust at the end of the year workshop. Stiller began his professional career with Los Angeles Ballet. During his three year tenure, he performed mainly Corps de Ballet roles in Romeo and Juliet, La Sylphide, and Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 2 and received opportunities to perform Soloist roles such as Arabian in The Nutcracker. In 2016, he joined Ballet San Antonio as a Corps de Ballet member and was promoted to Soloist in 2017. He has performed a variety of Soloist roles including Espada (Don Quixote), Prince Desire (Sleeping Beauty), Albrecht (Giselle), The Beast (Beauty and the Beast), Don Jose (Carmen) and Principal in Gerard Arpino’s Round of Angels. Additionally, he has choreographed two original works that debuted at the 2017 and 2018 season’s Encore program.
