Native to Cincinnati, Ohio, Sophia Myers began her training at the Cincinnati Ballet Academy where she had the opportunity to perform in numerous productions with the company. She received additional training from the School for Creative and Performing Arts in downtown Cincinnati where she graduated top of her class. Myers continued to the Louisville Ballet as a Trainee under Bruce Simpson as Artistic Director. In Louisville, she had the pleasure of performing with the company in The Nutcracker, Romeo and Juliet, Swan Lake, La Sylphide, Giselle, and choreography by various dancers in the company such as Sanjay Saverimuttu and Brandon Ragland. Myers continued her professional career with Ballet Quad Cities for two seasons performing works by Dominic Walsh, Brian Enos, and Diana Carter. After Ballet Quad Cities, she spent a season with Bay Pointe Ballet in the San Francisco Bay Area under the direction of Bruce Steivel. In the past two seasons, she has performed with De la Dance Company under Meredith Benson and Mario de la Nuez performing in roles such as the Sylph in La Sylphide and Swanilda in Coppelia.

Myers is excited to begin her first season with Ballet San Antonio.
