DEAR BALLET SA FAMILY,
2020 has presented a new facet of challenges, but we are no stranger to obstacles. We have faced them and have emerged stronger with devoted arts patrons like you. While the performances of Don Quixote have been cancelled, we want to ensure that we stay connected with you and as such, have established a relief fund encompassing our past, present, and future: Resilient. Over the past couple of weeks, the dancers have created exciting and original choreography, insights into their current lives, and educational content to stay connected over social media.
Please consider making a gift of any size to support the continued success of Ballet San Antonio as donations are a critical part of our annual operations. Your support goes beyond the stage, it contributes to the landscape and access to the arts in San Antonio.
We appreciate your patience and support, now more than ever, as we navigate through these rapidly changing circumstances. As we look to the holiday season, we are working closely with the Tobin Center and key sponsors to develop a creative and safe production of The Nutcracker. We will keep you updated in the coming months and look forward to performing and sharing the beauty and joy of our company again.
On behalf of all of us at Ballet San Antonio, we remain committed to San Antonio and to our future. We are your ballet company.
Ballet San Antonio is a non-profit organization recognized by the IRS under section 501(c)(3). The Federal Tax ID is 74-2371103. Your donation is 100% tax deductible.
The definition of Resilient is the ability to withstand or recover quickly from difficult conditions and/or the ability to recoil or spring back into shape after bending, stretching, or being compressed. At BSA, we are inspired by the dancer's ability to withstand hours and hours of their body, mind, and emotions being challenged to memorize and execute complicated choreography to perform for our patrons and return to the studio to do it all over again.
