When did you start dancing, and why?
I started dancing at age 4 when my mom put me into classes. I started with jazz, contemporary, hip hop, and tap. I loved the feeling of performing on stage and the versatility in each style that you could show as a performer. I later turned my focus primarily to classical ballet training because I loved the structure and challenge it presented as an artist.
What inspires you to be a professional dancer?
When I started dancing I was inspired by my teachers and their careers. As a professional I’m inspired by my students to lead by example. Each of them has inspired me with their growth, resilience, and confidence that it takes to be a performer.
Why did you choose Ballet San Antonio?
I chose BSA for their positive reputation and female leadership. I’m excited to get the opportunity to teach the students of SBSA and share my passion for dance!
