BALLET INSTRUCTOR

Employment Type: Part-Time, Non-Exempt
Location: San Antonio, TX

POSITION SUMMARY

Ballet Instructors are responsible for leading ballet classes for individuals and/or groups of students. Duties are related to teaching the SBSA curriculum, promoting positive learning environment, and engaging students to pursue their goals. SBSA is committed to safeguarding and promoting the overall welfare of all students.

  • Ability to manage priorities and support a busy workload
  • Effective planning and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Past professional performing career in ballet preferred
  • Certifications in CPR and First Aid preferred
  • Teaching certification preferred

FRONT DESK ADMINISTRATOR

Employment Type: Part-Time, Hourly
Location: San Antonio, TX

POSITION SUMMARY

The SBSA Front Desk Administrator will be the first point of contact for SBSA students, parents and guests.  The Front Desk Administrator is responsible for greeting guests, checking-in students, answering customer inquiries, completing required paperwork and maintaining a professional image.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and develop strong, positive relationships with SBSA Staff, students and parents

DUTIES

  • Greeting all SBSA guests and directing them to the appropriate staff member or studio
  • Checking-in students for class
  • Answering customer inquiries
  • Timely completion of all required data entry and paperwork
  • Execution of all COVID-19 compliance protocols
  • Assisting with the maintenance of Jackrabbit, the dance studio management system
  • Responding to telephone and electronic communications
  • Attending SBSA staff meetings, as required
  • Other duties as assigned.

COMPETENCIES

  • Strong, demonstrated capabilities in carrying out administrative tasks
  • Excellent organizational skills including the ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including professional phone etiquette
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external business contacts at all levels
  • Able to coordinate several projects to a successful completion with little to no supervision
  • Responds promptly to shifts in direction, priorities, and schedules
