Originally from Manhattan, Julia Davies began her formal ballet training at the age of nine at Ballet Academy East in New York City. At the age of thirteen, Davies was accepted as a year round student at The Kirov Academy of Ballet of Washington D.C. In 2016, she graduated with honors and received The Outstanding Graduate Award for her senior class. Upon graduation, she moved to Chicago to train with world-renowned coaches Alexei Kremnev and Anna Reznik. In 2017, Davies joined Colorado Ballet as a studio company member. During her two seasons there she performed in Dracula, The Nutcracker, Romeo and Juliet, The Sleeping Beauty, Carmina Burana and Serenade. While at Colorado Ballet, Davies participated in cultural events, including an Aretha Franklin tribute, and many outreach programs. She is very excited to be joining Ballet San Antonio as a corps de ballet member.
