I started dance when I was 5 years old in iowa, and mainly trained at (school of classical ballet and dance) and (ballet Des Moines). my ballet focused training really kicked off when I moved to chicago at 16 to train with the A&A Ballet. I joined ballet San Antonio in September of 2022. My favorite ballets/performances would have to be the nutcracker, flames of Paris, and the carnival of the animals. Finally, my outside hobbies mainly include spending time with my fish and turtle at my home aquarium.

When did you start dancing and why?

I started dancing when I was just five years old. After always being at the studio for my older sister watching in on all the classes, a teacher brought me in to try. Immediately, I found joy in the level of difficulty it brought me.

What inspired you? What inspires you as a pro?

Being inspired and motivated for me comes from within. I strive to consistently improve, always pushing and trying to chase my idols such as Steve McRae, Xander Parish and Ivan Vasiliev, to name a few.

Why did you choose BSA, and for some both BSA-SBSA?

I chose Ballet San Antonio to call home after great referrals from former directors and guest dancers I’ve met previously. It’s truly been a pleasure to be under the care of our artistic director, Sofiane Sylve, and ballet master, Rafael Ferreras.  s
