Robert Grossman

Robert Grossman graduated from Alma College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Performance as a Percussionist. While studying in college, Robert stayed an active participant in the Alma College’s Music Program, performing with the Alma College Marching Band, Alma College Wind Ensemble, Alma Symphony Orchestra, and the Alma College Percussion Ensemble. 

While a member of the Alma College Percussion Ensemble, the group performed at the Detroit International Jazz Festival, Cleveland’s Parade the Circle Arts Festival, and the Notre Dame Jazz Festival. Robert was also the Student Chairman of the Alma College/ Hohner Institute of Percussion Summer Percussion Workshop, a two-week residential summer camp which brought in students from around the state of Michigan. 

Robert has previously worked with the Cleveland Orchestra as an Operations Intern during their annual Blossom Music Festival, the Alabama Symphony Orchestra as their Artistic and Education Coordinator, the San Antonio Symphony as Orchestra Personnel Manager, the Jacksonville Symphony as Orchestra Personnel Manager, and Youth Orchestras of San Antonio (YOSA) as Operations Manager before joining Ballet San Antonio in October of 2022.
