SEND THE KIDS
TO THE BALLET

The “Send The Kids To The Ballet” initiative by Ballet San Antonio provides free tickets and transportation to children from local organizations, giving them a chance to experience the magic of ballet. After a successful 2022-23 season, we’re expanding this program to reach even more children across Bexar County.

Moves You

Ballet San Antonio’s “Learning That Moves You” program opens the world of dance to underserved children by offering free, immersive ballet classes at local organizations like the Boys and Girls Clubs. For The Kids

Our Mission For Outreach

The future of the Ballet San Antonios Outreach Programs program envisions a transformative impact on our community, broadening access to the arts for children and fostering a love for dance that transcends socioeconomic and geographic barriers. By expanding our reach, we aim to collaborate with more schools, community centers, and youth organizations, that as many children as possible have the opportunity to experience the magic of ballet.

 Our goal is to not only provide tickets but also to create comprehensive educational programs that include pre-show workshops, meet-and-greet sessions with dancers, and hands-on activities that bring the art of ballet to life. Through these efforts, we aspire to inspire the next generation of artists, patrons, and supporters, cultivating a vibrant and inclusive arts community that values and celebrates the transformative power of ballet.
