Katie Simpson

 Katherine Simpson, M.F.A earned her Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Technical Theatre with a concentration in costuming at Oklahoma State University and her Master of Fine Arts in Costume Technology from North Carolina School for the Arts. She has worked at the Utah Shakespeare Festival, Santa Fe Opera, Walt Disney World and Six Flags Fiesta Texas. She was the costume shop manager at Sea World San Antonio from 2014 until 2022. She now works the summer season at Glimmerglass Opera in Cooperstown, New York as the Costume Shop Floor Manager. She brings her considerable experience and talent to Ballet San Antonio as the new Wardrobe Supervisor.
