Lauren LaPorto

Originally from Connecticut, Lauren received her Master of Arts degree in Information Design from Central Connecticut State University. Her professional background includes working with Pratt & Whitney and The Walt Disney Company in the areas of digital marketing, communications, graphic design, and public relations. Lauren found her way to San Antonio in 2022 through her husband who is currently serving in San Antonio in the US Army. After spending many years volunteering and supporting her younger sister at Connecticut Concert Ballet, where Lauren danced as a child, she now finds great joy in working with the professional company of Ballet San Antonio.  “Getting to work with such a wonderful group of dancers and artistic staff is very rewarding for me. While I mainly danced as a child, I grew up in a ballet studio environment and for many years danced vicariously through my sister, who is now studying Ballet Pedagogy at The University of Hartford. After moving from Connecticut, I missed an artistic work environment and have found fulfillment through my opportunity of working with Ballet San Antonio.”  Outside of work, Lauren’s hobbies include spending time with her husband, family and friends, hiking, cooking, Pilates and yoga.
