BALLET SAN ANTONIO - 2026-27 PROFESSIONAL COMPANY AUDITIONS

Ballet San Antonio is now accepting submissions for our 2026-27 Professional Company auditions. Professional dancers seeking ballet company auditions in Texas are encouraged to apply early, as in-person audition slots are limited and offered by invitation only.

  • In person auditions are by invitation only. Drop-ins will not be accepted.

    To be considered, applicants must meet the eligibility requirements and submit the required materials via email to:

    Upon receipt of your materials, a personalized profile will be created in our audition database. You may update or add materials at any time by emailing Trevor Gagnon.

    Materials are reviewed on a rolling basis. Applicants are encouraged to apply early, as the number of in-person audition slots is limited.

  • • Must be 18 years or older
    • Height requirement (males): 5’7” and above
    • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. (Form I-9 required prior to employment)

  • Professional Resume / CV Requirements

    • One-page professional resume or CV

    Audition Photo Requirements

    Submit three (3) photographs:

    • Headshot
    • First arabesque
    • Tendu à la seconde (facing the camera)

    Audition Video Requirements

    Submit four (4) video links:

    Link 1 – Classwork (filmed in studio)

    Barre (one side only, short exercises)
    • Pliés
    • Tendus
    • Quick dégagés
    • Adagio
    • Grand battement

    Center (both sides, short exercises – women on pointe)
    • Adagio
    • Pirouettes
    • Grand pirouettes
    • Petit allegro
    • Entrechat six
    • Grand allegro
    • Double tours (men)
    • Diagonal turns (women)

    Link 2 – Classical variation
    (Filmed in studio, in practice clothes if possible)

    Link 3 – Contemporary variation
    (Filmed in studio, in practice clothes if possible)

    Link 4 – Men only: Partnering
    (Filmed in studio, in practice clothes if possible)

  • Applicants will be notified of their status no later than Friday, February 27, 2026.

    All invited dancers must complete:

    • An employment application
    • A liability waiver

    These forms will be provided via DocuSign and must be completed prior to attending the in-person audition.
