Jacob Ybarra

HOMETOWN: San Antonio, Texas

Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, Jacob Ybarra is proud to bring his passion for sports, the arts, and community engagement to his role as Associate Director of Marketing at Ballet San Antonio.

A graduate of Central Catholic High School (Class of 2020), Jacob went on to earn his degree from Texas A&M University in May 2025. During his time at Texas A&M, he gained extensive experience in athletics, serving as an Athletic Training Manager for the Aggie football team for two and a half seasons and assisting with the men’s basketball program during the summer and early part of the 2024 season.

Before his college years, Jacob began building his leadership and mentorship skills by coaching basketball and baseball for the middle school teams at St. Luke Catholic School.

Now, as part of Ballet San Antonio, Jacob combines his creative vision and team-driven mindset to support the company’s mission of bringing world-class dance to the San Antonio community. His work reflects his deep appreciation for both performance and dedication—values that have guided him throughout his academic, athletic, and professional journey.
