Alexandria (Dria) Ballew

Dria Ballew began her dance training in her hometown, San Antonio, Texas, at the age of three at Dorothy Keck Dancers. She then transferred to Ballet New Braunfels followed by Ballet Conservatory of South Texas. While at Ballet Conservatory, she danced with Ballet San Antonio and trained in master classes under Joffrey Ballet and Huntsville Ballet. 

She began teaching classical ballet with Pautz Pescasio Ballet and San Antonio Ballet School in 2018 before moving to New York City in 2019 to pursue her Master’s Degree. She continued her ballet education at Steps on Broadway and graduated with her MA in Modern and Contemporary Art in 2020. She returned to San Antonio in 2021, and since then, she has taught classical ballet and conditioning for several studios, worked as a rehearsal assistant director, and danced as a guest performer. She joined School of Ballet San Antonio in 2022 and is thrilled to share her love of dance with more students!
