Originally from San Antonio, Daniella is currently a third year student pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Dance with a minor in English at Texas State University, located in San Marcos, Texas. Over the past three years, she has contributed her talents as a member of the Psalm 149 Dance Company, located in New Braunfels, Texas, where she showcases her proficiency in various dance genres including contemporary, jazz, hip-hop, and improvisational dance. Daniella finds joy in teaching improvisational dance techniques to the pre-professional company, Younger Generation Company, during their annual workshops. With a passion for community engagement, she dedicates her time to performing at senior centers alongside her fellow Psalm 149 members, using uplifting scriptures to spread
love and motivation.
Further enriching her dance journey, Daniella has imparted her knowledge as an instructor at Studio 149 in New Braunfels, Texas, where she taught pre-ballet, kids jazz, and conducted private lessons. Her dedication to the art form has been showcased through her participation in notable performances such as “Moving in Goodness,” choreographed by Torens Johnson, Assistant Professor at Texas State University, and “Just Passing Through,” choreographed by Michelle Nance, Director of Dance at Texas State University.
In June 2023, Daniella began her professional career at the School of Ballet San Antonio as a Front Desk Attendant and was promoted to the position of Registrar in May 2024. Focused on a future in dance administration, Daniella aims to merge her administrative prowess with her passion for dance, while concurrently pursuing performance opportunities with Psalm 149. During her leisure time, Daniella enjoys dancing in her bedroom and cuddling with her cats, Jose and Kylala.
